Entry into Türkiye is now a lot cheaper and easier for many Europeans planning trips to Türkiye this season, according to official news announced recently.
In an effort to boost tourism and strengthen trade and economic relations with the EU, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara has announced visa-free entry to Türkiye for UK citizens and those from 5 other EU countries:
“As of 2 March 2020, Türkiye has decided to exempt visa requirements for members of the European Union Schengen areas Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, as well as United Kingdom citizens for touristic travel to Türkiye for every 90 days within a 180 day period.”
Visa-free travel to Türkiye from March 2nd 2020.
