HISTORIC BODRUM

Bodrum was referred to as the “St. Tropez of Turkiye” by the New York Times, and it doesn’t get a review like that easily! Bodrum is one of Turkiye’s most established resorts. It’s an attractive town with 3 marinas, beautiful bays and a lively restaurant and bar scene.

Bodrum has for decades been a thriving resort popular with British, international and European visitors and yachtsmen. It was called Halicarnassus of Caria in ancient times and was famous for housing the Mausoleum of Mausolus. Bodrum Castle, built by the Knights Hospitaller in the 15th century and overlooking the harbour and Bodrum Milta Marina, makes for an interesting sea approach. The castle grounds include a Museum of Underwater Archaeology, arguably one of the best museums of its kind in the world. The castle’s grounds also hosts several cultural festivals and events throughout the year, many of which are worth a visit.

Bodrum port is inviting. It’s a colorful and bustling place with an alluring ambience and the ideal setting for a lively night out. Here you will find fine dining restaurants tucked next to great traditional eateries, plus a vast array of bars and nightlife sure to appeal to anyone that likes to party.
