Epicures, gourmands, and fine food lovers take note: the latest round of Michelin Star restaurants in Turkiye was announced, and a total of 32 new restaurants in Istanbul, Izmir, and Bodrum have been added to the 2025 Michelin Guide, totting the number in the country up to 132.
The culinary scene in Türkiye has always been a highlight for superyachts. Although outstanding cuisine is available onboard, many guests like to spend an evening ashore, giving the chef and crew a well-deserved break from the galley.
Whether savouring seabass in Bodrum, tucking into a tasting menu in Urla, or sampling culinary delights in Istanbul tickles the tastebuds, the 2025 Michelin Guide now brims with suggestions on where to head for a gastronomic feast.
Here’s the 360 Yachting look at the new restaurants awarded Michelin Stars and Michelin Green Stars in Türkiye.
The New 2025 Michelin Star Restaurants in Turkiye
There are now 77 restaurants in Istanbul that appear in Türkiye’s 2025 Michelin Guide, with Casa Lavanda in Istanbul’s Sile suburb the new recipient of a One Michelin Star rating plus a prestigious Michelin Green Star.
Casa Lavanda joins Mikla, Neolokal, Nicole, Araka, Arkestra, and Sankai by Nagaya, whom we mentioned before in our last Istanbul Michelin star round-up. But, of course, no star-studded article should fail to mention the delights of Turk Fatih Tutak, who retains two Michelin stars and sits firmly at the forefront for its “exceptional cuisine, worth the detour” Michelin Guide acclaim.
Casa Lavanda, Sile, Istanbul
An evening at Casa Lavanda shouldn’t disappoint. Talented chef Emre Şen uses the best seasonal ingredients to craft exquisite Turkish and Mediterranean seafood, meat, and plant-based dishes in an incredible kitchen garden and terrace setting.
Each dish at Casa Lavanda highlights the best locally sourced produce, with menus reflecting the seasons. The food is a tribute to local ingredients and flavours, with most vegetables grown in their garden. The cuisine showcases the best traditional Turkish culinary traditions, with a bit of Italian flair thrown in, all impeccably presented with an impressive wine list on hand to complement the offerings.
Casa Lavanda provides more than simply a stand-out hotel and restaurant. Due to its focus on renewable energy, organic farming practices, use of homegrown and local produce, and sustainability, the business was also awarded a Michelin Green Star. In addition, it has also received a recent sustainability 3-star rating by SRA for “Food Made Good Standard”. Narimor, Urla, Izmir – One Michelin Star
We head to the coast next and to the gastronomic delight of Narimor in Urla. This phenomenal restaurant is tucked into a boutique hotel and joins OD Urla, Teruar Urla, and Vino Locale with a prestigious Michelin one-star rating in Izmir province.
At Narimor, Chef Atilla Heilbronn creates unique twists on Turkish cuisine for a limited number of diners in a beautifully curated and intimate atmosphere. Having trained in Germany, some dishes are beautifully married with flavoursome, home-baked bread and pretzel-tyle baguettes, with dishes like samphire with a creamy kefir dressing and seabass with tart apricots securing high praise in the Michelin Guide online.
The hospitality at this glass-paned restaurant is also impressive, with Hostess Buse ensuring all who visit enjoy the chance to drink exceptional wine, feast on first-rate culinary creations, and thoroughly appreciate the unique Narimor experience. Sustainability Celebrated with New Michelin Green Star Awards
Over recent years, the Michelin Guide has expanded its focus beyond simply outstanding cuisine. Today, restaurants that go the extra mile in embracing sustainable gastronomy can receive special Green Star recognition for using seasonal, local ingredients, minimising waste, and actively reducing their environmental impact.
This year, six restaurants were awarded the Michelin Green Star for their eco-friendly efforts. The recipients include The Barn, Telezzuz, and Casa Lavanda in Istanbul, Asma Yaprağı in Izmir, and Mezra Yalikavak and Agora Pansiyon in Bodrum. These establishments are leading the way in environmentally conscious dining. Both the new Michelin Star and Green Star restaurants featured in the 2025 Michelin Guide are helping to solidify the country’s position in the global fine dining scene.
This recognition is excellent news for superyacht guests, as it ensures that the 360 Yachting team can arrange exceptional dining experiences for guests. We now only hope the Michelin Guide finds the time to explore beyond Istanbul, Izmir, and Bodrum and highlight restaurants in other regions of Türkiye that also deserve mention.
LET US KNOW if you would like us to make a reservation at any of the restaurants above or if you require suggestions for other top-quality dining establishments during your time here in Türkiye.
